K 2025: Discover the Power of Plastics – Green, Smart and Responsible

The K trade fair – one of the world’s largest trade fairs in the plastics and rubber industries – will come back again from October 8 to 15, 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

 

Huge exhibition area with strong international presence

 

This triennial trade fair spans over 177,000 sqm net exhibition space in 18 exhibition halls and on the outdoor premises. The exhibition area will be divided into three sections:


  • Machinery and equipment: Halls 1, 3-4, 8b as well as 9-17

  • Raw materials and auxiliaries: Halls 5, 6, 7, 7a, 8a, 8b

  • Semi-finished products, technical parts and products of reinforced plastics: Halls 5, 6, 7, 7a, 8a, 8b

Following the success in 2022, K 2025 expects a strong international presence. 

 

More than 3,000 exhibitors will participate in K 2025. Following the success in 2022, exhibitors from Europe in particular will once again be strongly represented at this K fair, especially from Germany, Italy, Turkey, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain.

 

At the same time, the number and exhibition space of companies from Asia have remained at a consistently high level for years. The presence of companies from China and India will be particularly impressive. In addition, the USA will once again be represented by a larger group of exhibitors.

 

According to the organizer, Messe Düsseldorf, Germany has the highest number of exhibitors with a total of 744 exhibitors, while China ranks second with 699 exhibitors.

 

Notably, the number of Chinese exhibitors has increased by 68.43% compared to K 2022, and the exhibition area has also grown significantly, highlighting the increasing activity and influence of China’s plastics and rubber industries in the global market.

 

Focus on circular economy, digitalization and social responsibility

 

The motto “The Power of Plastics! Green – Smart – Responsible” reflects the plastics and rubber industries’ current values, targets, and commitments to act sustainably, smartly and responsibly in producing and handling plastic materials and products.

 

Align with its motto, K 2025 will present itself based on the three guiding topics – “Shaping the circular economy”, “Embracing digitalization”, and “Caring about people” – with a list of special programs presenting concrete solutions that tackle key challenges in the industries.

 

Extensive services for visitors

 

It is noteworthy that the organizer provides extensive digital services to help visitors navigate the trade fair effortlessly.

 

The Ticketshop for K 2025 opens at the trade fair’s official website (www.k-online.com). The eTicket can be scanned as a print-out or straight from smartphone display at the exhibition center turnstiles, avoiding long queues to get into the exhibition halls.

 

“K Trade Fair” app, available for both iOS and Android devices, offers convenient access to news from the industries, as well as helpful tips related to the K fair. The app also provides access to exhibitor database, which can also be found at the official website.

 

Matchmaking-Tool Fairmatch enables trade visitors and all exhibitors to search for matching contacts. Visitors need to fill the interests and search parameters. By quickly matching these information, recommendations and personalized proposals area generated immediately. This allows visitors and exhibitors to make contact or conveniently schedule appointments during the trade fair.
