Webinar: Explore Star Plastics’ innovate sustainable materials

Sep 1, 2025

Star Plastics has offered high-performance materials since 1988. The company has evolved into a global solution provider of sustainable materials for circular economy.

In 2008, Star Plastics became the first company to sell and manufacture post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in China. A decade later, in 2018, it pioneered the development and launch of materials made from ocean-bound plastics (OBP).

In 2024, Star Plastics partnered with Compal Electronics to promote an oyster shell recycling initiative, successfully developing a new material adopted in the laptop sector.

In an upcoming webinar aimed at helping industries address challenges with effective sustainable strategies, Star Plastics will highlight:

  • The availability of certified circular materials for use

  • Star reNova® Recycled-Content Resins (pre-consumer, post-consumer, OBP, BIO)

The company will also introduce new innovations, including:

  • Low-odor PCABS for interior components, enhancing sustainability in the automotive industry

  • Sustainable Nylon 10T Solutions for a circular economy in connectors

  • Additional innovations in sustainable materials that comply with regulations (PFAS-free)
