Mitsui Chemicals to highlight sustainable and PFAS free solutions at K Fair
At the K 2025 fairgrounds, under the slogan “Feel Good Chemistry for a sustainable world”, the Mitsui Chemicals Group will showcase innovative materials and samples that contribute to the circular economy and a carbon neutral and sustainable society.
The exhibit highlights of the Japanese chemical company include sustainable polymer solutions, recycling solutions for packaging, advanced optical material solutions, and PFAS & PTFE free solutions.
Recently, Mitsui Chemicals, Idemitsu Kosan, and Sumitomo Chemical have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning the integration of the polyolefin (PO) business operated by Prime Polymer, a joint venture between Mitsui and Idemitsu, with Sumitomo Chemical’s polypropylene (PP) business and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) business in Japan.
The three parties have explored the opportunities for collaboration to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic PO business, including PP and PE.
