K 2025: Bumper brackets with PCR content at Borealis and Borouge booth
Bumper brackets made from certified post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials are showcased at the Borealis and Borouge booth at K 2025.
A leading global automotive manufacturer has selected Borcycle MD2550SY and Borcycle GD3600SY—two high-performance grades from the Borcycle M portfolio of advanced mechanically recycled solutions—for the bumper brackets of their new premium SUV.

Bumper bracket made from Borcycle MD2550SY, a 20% mineral filled PP compound containing 50% PCR polymer.

Bumper bracket made from Borcycle GD3600SY, a 30% glass fiber filled PP compound containing 65% PCR polymer.
Both grades feature high levels of PCR content (50% and 65%, respectively) and are produced in RecyClass-certified facilities, ensuring verifiable and traceable sourcing.
These materials meet stringent standards for consistency and purity, offering excellent processability, performance, and quality, along with a significantly lower CO₂ footprint compared to comparable virgin materials. Borcycle GD3600SY has been successfully used in series production since 2024, including in interior applications.
This exemplifies how the Borcycle M portfolio empowers automotive manufacturers to confidently integrate mechanically recycled content into demanding structural components.
