Medical TPE-S: Compliance and safety

Chemiton Med TPE-S are biocompatible and certified USP Class VI and ISO 10993. They are sterilizable by autoclave, EtO, Beta and Gamma Rays, and DMF registered. They are also free from phthalates and vulcanizing agents, ideal for human health.

Optimized production process with TPE-S

TPE-S allows shorter molding cycles and energy savings. The material can be easily co-molded onto PP, PE, and rigid polymers. It also has lower material and process costs than silicone.

TPE-S for sustainable medical products

Even during the transformation process, TPE-S is 100% recyclable, contributing to sustainability commitment. The material acts as a valid alternative to vulcanized rubbers, silicone, and PVC.

Specialized solutions for medical components

The Chemiton Med range is ideal for use from translucent variants (for connectors, tubes, gaskets) to the grey compound used for the production of pierceable closures. Low-permeability grades (alternative to bromobutyl) is also available and is used for film applications (surgical drapes).
