K 2025: Amut brings innovations with efficiency, integration and sustainability
At K 2025, Amut presented a portfolio of innovations across all its business areas, all with objectives of efficiency, integration and sustainability.

Amut presented its innovations that combined efficiency, integration and sustainability in one.
Innovations for recycled content
Amut launched the new rPO pelletizing line for polyolefins (PO), engineered to integrate seamlessly with Amut's washing and sorting systems. By combining a purpose-developed pre-treatment unit with advanced extrusion technology and the dedicated granulAItion software, Amut delivered a highly energy-efficient "from bales to pellets" solution.
In parallel, the company also showcased a proven industrial tray-to-tray recycling solution for post-consumer PET. This innovation enables the recycling of multilayer trays into high-quality flakes suitable for food-grade applications, paving the way for true circularity in thermoformed packaging.
Solutions for higher efficiency
At the K fair, the company showed the New Magnum Concept, a step-change solution delivering unmatched productivity in cast-film production. Designed to process both virgin and post-consumer recycled resins on the same machine, it was positioned as the ideal choice for an industry increasingly focused on sustainability.
Thanks to proprietary innovations developed in-house, Magnum delivered unprecedented automation and operational efficiency. These include:
Prowind contact winder: Capable of winding on low-weight cores (140 g for 2-inch cores and 600 g for 3-inch cores)
Zero Scrap System: For in-line recycling of edge trims and scrap without a regranulation unit and with only 20 kW of installed power
Fully integrated Roll-Pack Unit software: For in-line packing of finished rolls
With production capacities from 3,100 kg/h at 3,000 mm width to 4,300 kg/h at 4,000 mm width, Amut offered flexible, tailor-made solutions that ensured outstanding performance at every stage.
Digital solutions for optimized operation
In the era of digitalization, Amut introduced an intelligent virtual assistant designed to enhance every aspect of cast-film line operation. Fully integrated into the line, the assistant provided real-time, multilingual support, offering:
Step-by-step guidance for set-up and troubleshooting
Real-time production data and trend analysis
Access to Amut manuals, schematics and technical documentation
Operator guidance and training tools
Direct interaction with the machine for immediate adjustments
By combining automation, intelligence and accessibility, Amut's virtual assistant helped reduce downtime, increase efficiency and guide the operator 24/7.
The company also unveiled two complementary digital innovations. Amut Predictive Package (APP) is a predictive maintenance system delivering real-time monitoring, anomaly detection and actionable guidance to ensure plant reliability and cut unplanned downtime.
Another is the Advanced Interface for Data Analysis (AIDA), powered by Siemens Industrial Edge, collects and analyzes data across the entire production line to optimize processes, energy consumption and throughput, enhancing efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
