The establishment of BoReTech India reflects the Group’s appreciation for the trust and support of its Indian customers and partners, as well as the dedication of its local team led by Indian Executive Director Ravi.

Gathering leading players from India’s plastic recycling industry

The inauguration ceremony brought together leading players from India’s plastic recycling industry, the wider plastics value chain, and local suppliers.

During the ceremony, Mr. Ou, President of BoReTech Group, Mr. Bharat B. Mehta, Senior Vice President (RIL Business) of Reliance Industries, Mr. Vinod Mehta, Vice President (Corporate and Commercial) of RSWM, and Ms. Alka Bhagat, Managing Director of Chemetall India (a BASF company), shared insights on industry development and sustainability.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives from Reliance, Unitec Fibers, Sri Chakra Polymer, Jageram, RSWM, LNJ, Shree Laxmi Industries, Dalmia Polypack, Alliance Fibers, Shree Renga Polyester, SKJ Clean Enviro, Chemetall, Uflex, Safar Ecopet, and other industry partners.

Long engagement in Indian market

BoReTech’s engagement with India began in 2007 with the introduction of its first PET bottle washing line. Since then, BoReTech’s advanced washing technologies and integrated fiber production solutions have supported the rapid growth of India’s recycled polyester sector.

By the end of 2025, BoReTech had delivered 76 washing lines and 14 fiber production lines across India, all of which remain in stable operation.

Going forward, BoReTech India will focus on three priorities: local manufacturing and delivery, comprehensive EPC and engineering capabilities, and a reliable spare parts and after-sales service network.
