As Day 3 of CHINAPLAS unfolds, the momentum of excellence continues with seven themed forums designed to collaborate with plastics and rubber end-use manufacturers and branding companies. These forums will unveil the pain points of the end-use industries while seeking collaborative solutions across the supply chain.

 

Covering over 50 hot topics—including automotive, medical, packaging, antimicrobial, cables, and eco-friendly PVC products—this initiative aims to promote sustainable development in the plastics and rubber industries through synergy.

 

Highlights preview:

  • The "New Antibacterial Technology and Innovative Application Seminar", co-organized by boosteam and the Antibacterial Materials Committee of the Shanghai Plastics Industry Association, will invite end-users and research institutions from sectors such as food safety, water purification, automotive, medical, and fresh-keeping packaging to address pressing antibacterial demands.

  • The "2026 Technical Innovation Forum on Green Development of Plastic Packaging — Smart Plastics, Green Value", hosted by the Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, will focus on core themes of green, circular, intelligent, and low-carbon innovative practices.

 

An interactive “Applications & Trends Interactive Hub” will also be established on the mezzanine level. This one-stop hub will allow attendees to explore all Day 3 highlights, complete with engaging photo spots and exciting prizes.

Day4 Trend Insights

 

A full-day customized itinerary has been meticulously curated for the final day of CHINAPLAS on April 24, promising attendees an enriching experience. The day will commence with the "Decode Trends Forum" in the morning and transition into the "Exclusive VIP Factory Tour" in the afternoon.

 

Decode Trends Forum: This session will bring together leading experts, representatives from authoritative institutions, and specialists from top enterprises to analyze critical policy trends and market insights in the plastics and rubber industries. Participants will decode the plastic aesthetics and design thinking behind color, material, and finish (CMF) trends, while exploring the innovation and application of core material technologies in emerging sectors such as robotics and the low-altitude economy.

 

Exclusive VIP Factory Tour: Attendees will have the unique opportunity to visit the AI technology exhibition hall and smart production lines, interact with embodied robots, and engage with industry leaders during an expert salon, gaining valuable insights into future technological advancements.

 

Additionally, an interactive "Applications & Trends Interactive Hub" will be set up on the mezzanine floor. This one-stop hub will showcase all Day 4 highlights, complete with fun photo spots and exciting prizes.

Development Day for Campus Elites

 

Recognizing the challenges faced by businesses, particularly the “scarcity of professional talents and exorbitant campus recruitment costs”, CHINAPLAS 2026 is enhancing the Development Day for Campus Elites.

 

In collaboration with the Shanghai Plastics Industry Association and leading universities, this initiative brings traditional campus recruitment directly to CHINAPLAS. The program will feature onsite sharing sessions, face-to-face industry-academia communications, and group visits, effectively fostering cooperation and dialogue between academic institutions and industry players.

 

This effort aims to help enterprises navigate employment challenges and recruit elite talents characterized by solid professional knowledge, innovative thinking, and exceptional potential.

Product Innovation Gallery

 

In search of inspiration to elevate product design? The Product Innovation Gallery at CHINAPLAS 2026 promises to be a source of creative breakthroughs, bridging the gap between cross-industry manufacturers and elite suppliers. This year, the gallery will showcase over 200 bespoke products and semi-finished goods, displayed across seven signature walls strategically located at the entrances of five major exhibition halls.

 

Themed "From Products to Technology. From Technology to Products", this event will deconstruct the manufacturing processes and materials that underpin showcased products. Notably, the upgraded display areas flanking the display walls will feature larger-scale exhibits designed to create a visually impactful experience.

 

Moreover, the "Premium Display" walls on the first floor will highlight new offerings from Liuzhou Jingye, a specialist in fully automated Single-Stage Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM), and Hebei Hongrui, experts in cast nylon and railway transit composites. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe these innovative achievements up close, gaining a rapid understanding of the suppliers’ capabilities.
