Haitian Plastics Machinery delivers injection molding turnkey project to XPENG’s Zhaoqing base

On March 19, Haitian Plastics Machinery held a delivery ceremony for the injection molding equipment turnkey project at XPENG's Zhaoqing base. Attendees included Xu Bin, deputy director of Haitian's global industry line, Xu Haihui, general manager of Haitian South China, Ma Ji, director of XPENG's process technology department, Fan Haibo, manager of the Zhaoqing resin factory, and other representatives.

Equipment delivery

 

Three HA3300-22500 injection molding machines were delivered, mainly for automotive bumper production to support the resin factory's capacity.

Automation setup

 

The project adopts a one-stop turnkey injection molding island solution, equipped with Stäubli mold change carts and magnetic platens to enable automated fast mold change. A 9-station quick fixture change platform is also provided to shorten mold and product changeover time.

 

The machines are equipped with on-machine automation systems to perform post-processing including part removal, gate cutting, flame treatment, weighing and laser marking.

 

Facility integration

 

The project includes the layout of secondary cooling water, electricity, and air systems, along with centralized material feeding and exhaust treatment systems. These facilities will be delivered together with the project.

 

Zhaoqing base overview

 

As a core production hub, XPENG's Zhaoqing Base houses a resin factory capable of large-scale manufacturing of plastic exterior parts including bumpers.

This delivery covers injection molding equipment, automation systems, and plant auxiliary facilities, representing a turnkey project. Upon completion, the production line is ready for operation.
