Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) enhance performance and functionality of exercise bands.

 

KRAIBURG TPE offers specialized TPE for sports and exercise band material compounds developed to meet performance criteria for durability, stability, lightweight design, compactness, safety, and other key material properties for fitness equipment, specifically designed for flexible resistance bands.

Mechanical strength and reliability

 

The TPE materials combine optimized density, high tensile strength, and excellent elongation at break, enabling resistance bands to stretch repeatedly without losing elasticity or mechanical integrity.

 

The high tear resistance of exercise band TPE materials enhance safety by reducing the risk of sudden failure. These properties ensure that durable exercise bands maintain long service life and consistent functionality.

 

Design versatility

 

KRAIBURG TPE’s Tear resistant TPE compounds also render translucency, which not only allows for product differentiation but also enhances the perceived value and aesthetic appeal of the final product to consumers.

 

The compounds are compatible with extrusion, permitting efficient production of multiple band formats, thicknesses, and resistance levels. They can be melted and reshaped multiple times without significant degradation, making them highly recyclable and suitable for cost-effective manufacturing.
