I. Cutting-edge global policies: 15th Five-Year Plan, regulations from EU and the world
The conference started with welcome remarks by Rita Chu, Vice Chairman of Adsale Group, and Kai Zhao, Executive Vice President of China Association of Circular Economy.

Both emphasized that plastic circular economy is the core path for achieving “dual carbon” goal. This requires establishing a whole-chain, closed-loop system of “reduction from source – high-efficiency recycling – high-value recycled materials – applications with compliance”, making breakthrough in technology bottleneck such as quality of physical recycling, and industrial scaling of chemical recycling.
These also deepen international cooperation, promote technological exchanges, standards recognition, and market connection. Together, countries can build a greener, more efficient global plastic circular supply chain.
After these welcome remarks, the focus shifted to global policy trend.
The Ellen MacArther Foundation explained the implementation path of 2030 Plastics Agenda for Business.

By combining recycling policies and entering standards for core overseas markets such as Indonesia and Turkey, the session reflected policies that Chinese companies have to follow for going global, avoiding opportunity miss and obstacles due to misunderstanding.

II. Actions by leading brands and packaging manufacturers: From promise to implementation
Actions are louder than words. Leading brands do not just promote with sustainability slogan but bring implementable circular solutions that act as reference for other companies to follow.
Unilever shared how it scales circular strategy, from packaging recycling to collaboration along value chain, explaining the operation through the whole chain. Shiseido and Haleon presented their sustainable packaging implementation and results, using real data to prove the feasibility of recycled material application.

III. A presentatioin of 60+ material and machinery solutions
A wealth of recycling processing technologies and recycled materials were shared and presented during the conference. The following are some highlights:
Fully compliant with the EU ELV Directive, Shanghai Ausell Material Technology Co., Ltd. provides a full range of high-quality PCR PC material solutions. The PC 2010B-Car series and PC 3011 deliver excellent performance, meeting ELV requirements for recycled content usage and "car-to-car" material sourcing, enabling high-value utilization of recycled materials.

SABIC presented its certified circular polymer stand-up pouches. Made from certified circular polymers by chemical recycling, they maintain performance equivalent to those made from virgin materials.

Huizhou Tianhong Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. presented the TX650 S-G dual-station technology. Featuring ultra-high precision filtration, it significantly improves melt purity. Its unique dual-station design enables non-stop continuous production, eliminating production interruptions. The screen change cycle exceeds 30 days, greatly reducing maintenance costs and ensuring stable performance for high-output lines.

Dow shared its comprehensive material ecosystem, featuring solutions for mechanical and chemical recycling, as well as low-carbon and bio-based materials, driving the adoption of the circular economy and low-carbon plastics.

INRESST showcased mechanical recycled PA6/PP-H/HDPE pellets and chemically recycled PA6 pellets. The company has established global recycling points to recycle abandoned fishing nets and gear. Using proprietary patented equipment and unique material/chemical processes, it converts waste plastics into high-quality recycled materials.

Fine-Blend Polymer (Shanghai) Co, Ltd. introduced its compatibilizers, chain extenders, toughening agents, flow modifiers, macromolecular coupling agents, and adhesive resins. These products are applied in high-performance polymer modification, high-value recycled and bio-based materials, and material bonding.

Radici introduced the Renycle series, derived from post-industrial and post-consumer recycled materials. The company has developed halogen-free and red-phosphorus-free flame-retardant grades that achieve UL 94 V‑0 at 0.8 mm with UL Yellow Card certification, striving a balance between sustainability and material properties.

Shanghai Smart New Materials Co., Ltd. presented PCR materials recycled from washing machines and milk bottles. These materials hold GRS and RecyClass certifications as well as comply with FDA, REACH, RoHS requirements. They are also PFAS-free.

Guangzhou Justra Technology Co., Ltd. highlighted its optical sorter and its film sorter. The optical sorter. The former can identify over 260 material types, sorting by material, color, and brand with ≥99.5% accuracy. The later separates PP, PE, PET, PVC, PA, and multilayer films with ≥95% accuracy.

Henan Yinjinda New Materials Co., Ltd. showcased the company’s circular film materials. The floatable film, featuring a density below water and low shrinkage, is suitable for beverage and personal care packaging and easy to recycle. Meanwhile, the rPETG film with 30% recycled content is produced by using post-consumer bottle flakes, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 10.9%.

Foshan Shunde Tongtai Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. displayed recycled ABS and recycled HIPS pellets with GRS certification. These materials feature a glossy surface and excellent toughness, which can replace virgin materials in various applications.

Jiangsu Chuangyue New Material Technology Co., Ltd. showcased recycled and modified plastic granules. The company has established a comprehensive recycling system of sorting, crushing, washing, pelletizing, and modification. Its products have obtained ISO, GRS, OBP, IATF 16949 certifications and national high-tech enterprise accreditation.

Suzhou JONO Innovative Technology Co., Ltd. showcased the AI hyperspectral sorting equipment, which obtains spectral information of hundreds of wavelengths through hyperspectral imaging to identify material composition and physical properties.
The equipment supports simultaneous sorting of multiple materials, including materials with similar colors and structures. It supports efficient continuous operation and enables continuous model optimization.
Guangzhou City Mingshen New Material Co., Ltd. presented its recycled material compatibilizer. By introducing active functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, epoxy, amino and anhydride groups, it regulates molecular chain degradation, phase separation and impurity interference in recycled plastics.
The compatibilizer overcomes problems such as sharp decline in mechanical properties, poor compatibility and unstable processing of recycled materials in multi-material blending, high-impurity and high-degradation recycling systems, thus enhancing utilization rate and added value.

Jiangsu Ceville New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. exhibited CEV413N PCR PET food-grade chips with excellent physical and mechanical properties, stable viscosity index and white color without black spots. They have passed food contact standard certifications of the United States and the European Union, with all safety indicators meeting requirements.

With its unique green methanol production process, Vioneo has realized the commercial mass production of 100% bio-based carbon PE and PP plastics free of virgin standard-grade materials. Each kilogram of plastic produced can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 6 kg, supported by full physical isolation and a traceable supply chain.

The bottle adopts LiquiForm® technology, reducing usage of plastic by 56% and greenhouse gas emissions by 48% compared with traditional products. The soft bottle body is paired with a rigid pump head, balancing drop resistance and smooth squeezing. The empty bottle can be easily compressed for convenient recycling.

The body of glass bottle body contains 20% PCR recycled glass, and both the inner and outer PP lid are made with 30% PCR materials, integrating beauty with environmental protection. The visual design blends brand style with oriental aesthetics, creating an elegant and recyclable experience.

Mono-material dropper
It solves the bottleneck of difficult recycling caused by multiple materials in traditional droppers, achieving 100% recyclability. The carbon black‑free piano black finish, which was refined through dozens of modifications with the masterbatch team, balances high-end aesthetics with efficient recycling.

The bottle is lightweight and 100% recyclable, and it achieves 35% plastic reduction. It adopts a rollable design that enables squeezing out the last drop.

Meanwhile, Logitech showcased its innovative applications of recycled plastics and other sustainable materials.

In addition, three hot-topic salons were specially organized at the conference, featuring in-depth discussions on the circular economy of plastics from multiple perspectives: cost sharing and value co-creation, reshaping role of green supply chains, and solving the information gap between supply and demand.
