Recently, the cooperation between Tederic and Armstrong Auto Parts Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian automotive component manufacturer, has achieved new milestones.

 

Following their previous choice of Tederic's large-tonnage two-platen injection molding machines for automotive part production, Armstrong Auto Parts has once again purchased Tederic's all-electric injection molding equipment this year.

This move is set to further enhance their high-efficiency, stable, and precision manufacturing capabilities in the automotive component sector.

 

Tailored solution for large-scale automotive component molding

 

Armstrong Auto Parts’ product portfolio includes shock absorbers, window regulators, exterior door handles, and ABS sensors, and it serves as a key supplier to renowned OEMs such as Foton Motor, Nissan, Honda, and Yamaha.

As their legacy machinery aged, the customer faced growing challenges in the production process, including high energy consumption, rising maintenance costs, and declining equipment stability.

 

Leveraging its extensive application experience in the automotive industry, Tederic provides Armstrong Auto Parts with highly efficient, energy-saving solution tailored for large-scale automotive component molding.

 

Molding stability and production efficiency

 

Tederic’s solution primarily targets the stable molding requirements of large components like automotive door panels. It offers superior compatibility with large, complex molds and seamlessly supports integration with automated production lines, balancing molding stability, production efficiency, and energy performance.

 

Compared to Armstrong Auto Parts’s legacy machinery, Tederic's equipment achieved a 30% to 50% reduction in energy consumption in actual production. This significantly lowered per-unit energy consumption and long-term running costs.

 

Supporting overseas customers with localized service responses

 

Tederic's localized service capabilities in the Malaysian market have also provided a strong guarantee for the customer's equipment upgrades.

 

Relying on its local service network, Tederic delivers rapid-response services ranging from installation and commissioning to technical support and routine maintenance. This effectively helps the customer mitigate downtime risks caused by maintenance delays, waiting for spare parts, or remote communication, thereby ensuring production continuity.
