The collaboration aims to advance automotive composite manufacturing and to jointly qualify innovative material solutions with key OEMs.

“This agreement highlights the value of combining our proprietary DDF technology with advanced prepreg systems to enable faster, more cost-efficient composite manufacturing,” said Gaurav Unni, Global Sales Leader Automotive Composites at Syensqo.

DDF is Syensqo’s advanced composite forming technology, enabling a highly automated, single-step process that delivers high-quality, repeatable parts with significantly reduced cycle times.

The technology helps reduce total cost of ownership by simplifying logistics, improving part accuracy, and optimizing capital investment through integration with existing manufacturing infrastructure.

Building on decades of collaboration between the two companies, Bucci Composites combines its expertise in composite manufacturing with DDF technology to qualify Syensqo’s innovative resin systems tailored for automotive applications.

“Licensing Syensqo’s DDF technology and working together on material qualification allows us to strengthen our capabilities and address OEMs' increasing need for higher-volume production of structural parts, bodywork components, battery enclosures, and many other applications,” said Andrea Bedeschi, Managing Director at Bucci Composites.
