Eco-Friendly Chemical Foaming Technology Opens New Optimization Space for Plastic Processing

Traditional solid injection or extrusion processes suffer from high material consumption and heavy product weight in many applications. Chemical microfoaming technology creates uniform microporous structures inside plastics, enabling lightweighting while enhancing buffer and thermal insulation properties of finished products.


Benqi has developed eco-friendly chemical foaming agents modified from sodium carbonate, which decompose into CO₂ gas. The formula delivers superior environmental performance and is compatible with multiple rubber and plastic systems for various processing scenarios.


Solutions for Injection, Extrusion & Other Foaming Scenarios

We develop material solutions targeting injection foaming, extrusion foaming and 3D printing foaming to satisfy different production demands:

  • Closed-mold injection foaming cuts overall production costs by 3%–8% via optimized material usage;

  • Secondary mold-opening foaming reduces resin consumption for automotive interior parts to realize lightweight design;

  • The foaming technology also applies to GPPS light diffusion panels, rigid/flexible extruded goods and foamable 3D printing filaments.
