Haitian and Milliken to create synergistic ecosystem within polypropylene industrial chain

Oct 15, 2026

Haitian Group and Milliken officially signed a global strategic cooperation agreement.

Based on the development needs of the polypropylene industry and strategic positioning, the cooperation covers four dimensions:

• Innovative application of polypropylene materials

• Customer development and support

• Concerted development of global markets

• In-depth synergy across the industrial chain

Leveraging the Haitian Tongchuang resin trading platform, the two parties will link the entire chain from equipment to materials, process applications and supply chain services, in order to build an integrated technical service system and create a new synergistic development ecosystem for the polypropylene industrial chain.

Four dimensions in the strategic cooperation framework

According to the strategic cooperation framework, the two parties will conduct in-depth cooperation across several dimensions.

The first one is the innovative application of materials. Facing key customer needs in terms of product performance, transformation efficiency, cost control and sustainable production, the two parties will jointly conduct R&D work on the adaptation of polypropylene resin products and the implementation of customized application solutions, in order to solve production challenges.

Next is the customer development and support. The two parties will form a joint technical service team to provide customers with comprehensive services including needs analysis, diagnostics of operating conditions, sample testing, process optimization and on-site technical support, in order to help customers improve their production and operational efficiency.

Third is concerted development of global markets. Leveraging Haitian Group’s global network, combined with Milliken’s global resources in R&D, technical application and market, the two parties will collaborate to establish links with downstream customers and polypropylene resin companies worldwide, to foster an efficient connection between materials, equipment and end-application needs, and to accelerate the promotion and deployment of innovative solutions in the global market.

Last is the deep synergy of the industrial chain. The two parties will link equipment manufacturing, R&D of new materials, process transformation, end applications and the supply chain, in order to achieve synergistic development of the industrial chain, simplify material selection and project implementation processes for customers, and effectively reduce operating and innovation costs for companies.

This strategic cooperation represents an innovative model for the synergistic development of the polypropylene industrial chain, as well as an important example of deep integration between materials science and smart manufacturing.

Going forward, both parties will continuously deepen collaborative innovation and integrated service capabilities within the industrial chain, jointly explore new industrial development opportunities on a global scale, promote quality improvement and industry upgrading, and build a new industrial chain ecosystem together.
