A theme zone decidated to smart packaging at Sino-Pack 2017

The 24th China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials (Sino-Pack 2017) and China (Guangzhou) International Exhibition on Packaging Products (PACKINNO 2017) will be held from March 1-3 in Guangzhou, China.

It is expected to feature more than 660 exhibitors from 22 countries across an exhibiting area of 44,000sqm.

Sino-Pack 2017 will feature four thematic zones, including Smart Packaging, Logistics Packaging, General Packaging and Food Packaging, announced the organizer, Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd.

Smart Packaging

Smart Packaging offers many advantages over conventional packaging, such as increased shelf life, reduced counterfeiting, increased product safety coupled with low cost, and ease of implementation. With the growing requirements on product protection and food safety, the demand of smart packaging is increasing assuredly.

The Smart Packaging Zone will be set up to showcase a series of automated packaging machinery, including automated production line, palletizers, sorting machines, containing machines, bulk handling equipment, stacking machines, demolition machines, etc.

Logistics Packaging

Along with the rapid growth of supply chain and logistics businesses, the sourcing need of back-end packaging equipment of conveying, packaging, palletizing, sorting, transportation and warehousing increases accordingly.

The Logistics Packaging Zone will be set up to showcase the latest logistics equipment and systems including barcode information systems, conveyor machines, stacking crane, three-dimensional rack, sorting machines, etc.

General Packaging

The General Packaging Zone will also be fully expanded to keep up with the needs of every single industry. Exhibits include a series of secondary packaging machines, such as palletizers, strapping machines, boxing machines, ink-jet printing machines, shrink wrapping machines, automatic box filling machines, carton sealing machines, labeling machines, container machinery, skin packaging machines, etc.

Food Packaging

Consumer demand continues to drive the food packaging industry for breakthrough so the industry players are looking for equipment that can fulfill the quest of efficiency, functionality and intelligence.

The Food Packaging Zone will introduce up-to-date sealing machines, wrapping machines, vacuum packaging machines, aseptic packaging machines, forming, filling & sealing machines, filling machines, etc.

The global market research organization, Technavio, predicted that the worldwide packaging market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 5% by 2020. The development of e-commerce and the burgeoning healthcare and cosmetics sectors are driving packaging demand globally.

With the speedy growth in e-commerce, PACKINNO 2017 will feature a special zone on Logistic Packaging Materials for showcasing popular, innovative and functional packaging products such as cartons, stretch film, inflatable bags, etc. It will also retain the traditional paper and plastic packaging products for food and cosmetic industries.

In addition to conventional materials, the Innovative Packing Materials Zone will bring consumer product companies with the latest technologies and eco-friendly packaging materials such as master batch, ink, plastic packaging film, adhesive, etc.
