Graphic Packaging completes acquisition of Mexican leading folding carton producer

Jan 7, 2016

Graphic Packaging Holding Company, a leading provider of packaging solutions to food, beverage and other consumer products companies, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Graphic Packaging International Holdings Mexico, has completed the previously announced acquisition of G-Box, S.A. de C.V., one of Mexico's leading folding carton producers.

"The acquisition of G-Box, with folding carton converting plants in Monterrey and Tijuana, Mexico, strengthens our geographic footprint in the growing Mexican food and beverage marketplace," said Michael Doss, Graphic Packaging's President and Chief Executive Officer. "These assets also broaden our customer base and allow us to offer our current customers a wider range of products."
