FoodPex 2015, part of the newly launched swop - Shanghai World of Packaging, organized by Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai Co. Ltd, China Center for Food and Drug International Exchange (CCFDIE), and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, will take place in Shanghai, China from November 17-20.

Along with the three concurrent fairs, PacPro Asia, CHINA-PHARM and BulkPex, FoodPex will present all stages of packaging value added chain and related processing segments (packaging materials production, package printing, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging, food processing and packaging, bulk and outer packaging).

The rapid economic development over the past 30 years in China has brought dramatic changes in social life. In early 2010, China's GDP per capita has reached US$3,600, signifying that public will be more demanding on food and other products.

Along with the recent implementation of the stringent "Food Safety Law" in China, the food processing and packaging industry is compelled to upgrade its equipment by investing in advanced technologies.
