Dow announces price increases of its epoxy resins in Asia Pacific

Effective from April 1, 2007, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy will increase the price of its epoxy resins in Asia Pacific as follows:
In the Asia Pacific region:
Price of liquid epoxy resins D.E.R. 300 series (with the exception of D.E.R. 354 and D.E.R. 383) will rise US$100/MT.
Price of D.E.R. 354 and D.E.R. 383 will rise by US$150/MT.
Price of solid epoxy resins will rise by US$100/MT.
Price of solid solution epoxy resins will rise by US$100/MT.
Price of brominated epoxy resins will rise by US$100/MT.
In Japan:
Price of liquid epoxy resins D.E.R. 300 series (with the exception of D.E.R. 354 and D.E.R. 383) will rise by (Yen)¥15/Kg.
Price of D.E.R. 354 and D.E.R. 383 will rise by (Yen)¥15/Kg.
Price of solid epoxy resins will rise by (Yen)¥12/Kg.
Price of solid solution epoxy resins will rise by (Yen)¥12/Kg.
Price of brominated epoxy resins will rise by (Yen)¥12/Kg.
Dow said the continued escalation in feedstock price, as well as the tight epoxy resins and raw materials supply are the primary reasons for the price increase.
