Excel Polymers opens automotive office in US

US-based compound and additive provider Excel Polymers LLC announced on January 12 the opening of an Automotive Sales and Market Development office in Novi, Michigan, the US.

Jim Staargaard, Vice President and General Manager, Transportation Business Unit said, "To better serve our customers' needs, we're locating a dedicated commercial and technical development team in the heart of Michigan's Automotive Technical Corridor. As the rate of change in auto parts and material performance requirements continues to speed up, we want to be as close as possible to the specifiers and the automotive OEs. Access to these customers' tech centers is key to supporting materials development. This new office will enable us to focus our technical resources on more robust and cost effective solutions to help these customers' compete globally."
