Merquinsa to launch new aliphatic TPU automotive range at FAKUMA

Merquinsa, a TPU specialty producer headquartered are in Spain, will present its new automotive line of aliphatic-based thermoplastic polyurethanes at FAKUMA, which will take place from October 17-21 in Germany.

According to Dennis Feijen, Elastomers Business Manager at Merquinsa, "this new Aliphatic Pearlthane TPU range is especially designed to meet the most stringent requirements demanded by the automotive industry for non yellowing interior parts, and paint protection applications."

The latest Pearlthane aliphatic grades include: Pearlthane D91T85 injection molding aliphatic specialty TPU compound, in which its non yellowing properties make it a material of choice for light colors in interior applications; and Pearlthane D95N85P aliphatic specialty TPU especially designed for skins applications. This extrusion TPU compound offers an outstanding elasticity, low temperature performance and non yellowing properties.
