Flexlight Shield 800 fabric addresses fire safety concerns and meets high fire standards.

Flame-retardant materials play an important role in contributing to building safety. A building’s exterior walls and their materials play a decisive role in fire protection, preventing fire from spreading from the outside in and vice versa, or from one floor to another.

The Flexlight Shield 800 fabric for modular structures is a PVC flexible composite membrane with woven fiberglass reinforcement. It is designed to be geared towards the modular structure markets, especially permanent or semi-permanent halls.

This non-combustible meshing helps building structure remain in place and protects the inside of the building by blocking fire residue, embers and other fire debris projected onto the roof or walls.

The composite membrane meets current exacting standards and complies with BROOF rating requirements (t1 and t3). This fire safety rating for roofs guarantees a flame penetration time through roofs and a flame propagation time on a roof’s surface exceeding 30 minutes.

The non-combustible fabric is with translucency of up to 9%.

In addition, the material is of dirt and water resistant, which makes the fabric easy to maintain and clean. Furthermore, the fabric is aesthetically pleasing with a translucency of up to 9% and owns outstanding mechanical properties with a 10-year warranty.

The flame-retardant fabric is available in three colors, including white, light grey and white/light grey.
