Dive deep on advanced molding technology today
Renowned as "mother of industry", molding technology is the incomparable partner for manufacturing process. At CHINAPLAS, two dedicated events focusing on advanced molding technology take place today.
Following last year's success, CHINAPLAS continues to partner with the Hong Kong Mould and Die Council (HKMDC) to hold the forum - "Empowering Product Quality with Advanced Moulding & Innovative Technology" Symposium 2024.
The symposium to be held in the morning shares the characteristics of the Hong Kong mold industry, as well as introduces the latest advanced molding technologies in the industry.
After Felix Choi, Chairman of HKMDC, delivering the opening remark, a sharing session covering three hot topics is arranged. For the first topic ※Innovations in Mold and Plastic under New Industrialization§, Raymond Shan, the Head of New Industrialisation Development Center at Hong Kong Productivity Council talks about the advancement in molding technology and plastic materials in the context of manufacturing transition with high technology, smartification, sustainability, etc.
The second topic is "Efficient Solutions Utilizing Multi-materials and LSR". In his presentation, Danny Lee, Business Development Director at Hongrita Mold Ltd shares some case studies in multi-material and LSR (liquid silicon rubber) molding. Next, Nelson Fu, Joint CEO of Ace Mold Co Ltd, discusses how advanced injection molding solutions can enhance product value in production cycle. At the end of the symposium, a panel discussion and Q&A session are included.
In the afternoon, another event - The Innovation of Injection Molding Forum - presents the latest injection molding and related technologies for various plastic application industries.
For example, Barnes Group introduces some reliable injection molding solutions for the medical multi-cavity field, while Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. talks about the application and development tendency of plastic materials in the medical industry. For the automotive industry, Guangzhou Automobile Group shares how plastic parts are gaining more applications in vehicles and the corresponding trends.
Meanwhile, Husky Injection Molding Systems focuses on the topic of bioplastics. The company talks about injection molding with optimized hot runner technology for bio-resins. Haitian International also shares its thick wall products solution.
