Sustainability in electric vehicle

Envalior highlighted electric vehicle bearings engineered with Stanyl PA46, which provides stiffness at high temperatures, mechanical performance and cost-effectiveness. Stanyl PA46 outperforms any PA66 or ceramic solutions in mechanical performance and any PEEK alternative in terms of cost.

Akulon/Durethan portfolio, featuring PA6, PA66 and TPC, can be applied in automotive cross-car beams and air spring mounts. The materials feature reduced carbon footprint and weight, and enables precise tolerances.

Flame retardant solution to ensure safety

Electric vehicle high-voltage connectors engineered with Pocan/Arnite PBT and Akulon/Durethan PA66 are also showcased by Envalior. Both materials are flame retardant with good electrical performance and processability, providing a safer and more efficient performance.

Akulon SG-KGS5/HV & SG-KGS6/HV offer a balanced performance in terms of outdoor F1 requirements, flaming retardancy, electrical performance, easy processing, mechanical creep performance and insurance of sealing to IP67, ensuring safer and better EV high voltage connection.

Envalior also tailor-made Pocan PBT BFN4232HR with CTI up to 600V, to overcome risk of ion/silver migration during high voltage charging. It also has intrinsic advantages in dimensional stability and color stability to ensure high voltage connection and recognition.

Xytron PPS meets all the requirements for EV Power Control Unit (PCU), including flame retardancy rated UL94 V-0, exceptional insulation properties spanning from -40 to 160°C throughout its operational lifespan, reliable dimensional stability, resistance to creep, and resilience against thermal shock-induced cracking. It is also e-Friendly to avoid corrosion.

Thermoplastic copolyester for footwear

High-performance athletic shoe midsoles engineered with Arnitel, a thermoplastic copolyester material adaptable to various foaming techniques. The material offers a unique product portfolio for various foaming technologies, which offer the possibility to achieve best in class rebounds and comfort in combination with longer life vs PEBA.

Numerous midsoles made with Arnitel are in production now and will enter the market in 2024 and 2025.
