Novel (Huangshan) Packaging launches multi-layer co-extrusion film

Jul 2, 2024

Novel (Huangshan) Packaging, a subsidiary of Huangshan Novel, started operating the equipment and launched multi-layered co-extrusion film.

The equipment used is from the filmex line by Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H). The process for multi-layered co-extrusion film combines different types of resin to produce high-performance film for various packaging demands.

filmex line by W&H is used to produce multi-layered co-extrusion film.

It also eliminates additional processing such as compounding and coating, which significantly reduces the use of raw material and production process, as well as achieves production with low weight but high strength.

Compared to the blown film process, the newly developed multi-layer co-extrusion barrier film features better heat resistance. The structure of film is also more flexible and adaptable, with faster change in different structure to ensure even distribution of each material.

Multi-layered co-extrusion barrier film delivers high puncture resistance, fast cooling, high transparency, high coverage, anti-pollution heat seal, high chemical resistance, and airtightness.

The film can be applied to frozen meat and meal, sauce, instant food, toothpaste tube, coffee bag, dairy products, pesticide powder, logistic packaging and vacuum storage bag.

The film produced can be applied to various use, including frozen meat.

According to Novel (Huangshan) Packaging, popular products in the multi-layered co-extrusion barrier film market include MDO-PE film, low temperature heat seal VMCPP film, HBVMBOPET film, PCB dry protection film, protection film for optical sheets.

In addition, the company also provides new film materials with high barrier properties, outstanding heat seal, adhesion, anti-fog, puncture resistance, for medical industry to ensure product safety and effectiveness, as well as for food industry to maintain product freshness and nutrition.
