Kao's Feather shampoo in 100% recyclable bottle

SCG Chemicals and Kao Industrial (Thailand) partnered to develop sustainable packaging for Feather’s hair care products.

“Feather was the first product that Kao introduced in Thailand, evolving from the original powdered sachet form to its current format. In addition to continuously developing its formulas, Kao has also been committed to advancing its packaging to meet environmental needs,” said Yuji Shimizu, President of Kao Industrial (Thailand).

The packaging is made from SCGC Green POLYMERTM, a high-quality PCR HDPE resin, utilizing SCG Chemical’s advanced recycling technology. As no color is added to the plastic, the packaging is 100% recyclable. The label is also designed with a perforation for easy removal, facilitating the recycling process.
