SUMINO presents precision 3-layer co-extrusion casting machine

SUMINO, a global leader in plastic machinery solutions, presents its latest precision 3-layer co-extrusion casting machine at its booth.


The 3-layer co-extrusion casting machine integrates advanced co-extrusion capabilities, enabling the simultaneous processing of multiple materials. This makes it ideal for producing high-end packaging films, composite materials, and high-performance plastic films.


Through precise process control, the machine enhances the physical properties, transparency, and protective qualities of film materials, meeting the growing market demand for high-quality, multifunctional plastic films.


To further enhance the machine’s performance and reliability, SUMINO has upgraded the control system. The showcased model features the Siemens S1500 series control system, paired with a dedicated temperature intelligence module. This combination ensures precise temperature control, rapid response, and intelligent monitoring of the production process.

The upgraded system allows real-time adjustments to key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed, minimizing production errors and improving efficiency. Additionally, the temperature intelligence module optimizes energy efficiency, reducing waste and providing customers with a more sustainable and cost-effective production experience.


SUMINO also highlights its precision casting film production line, which includes several high-end components: the ABA structure extruder optimizes material distribution and enhances the physical properties of multi-layer films; the 6-component vacuum feeding system ensures uniform material input, while a precision filter device maintains product purity by eliminating impurities; the in-mold composite die head enables precise interlayer compounding of different materials, ensuring superior film performance.


The production line also features an interchangeable molding machine for increased flexibility, an X-ray system for thickness monitoring, a CCD defect detection system for surface quality control, and a double-station winding system for efficient continuous production. Together, these components deliver exceptional product quality, consistency, and production efficiency.
