The two companies signed an agreement that encompasses a comprehensive Inline Coating (ILC) upgrade to its Brückner BOPP film stretching line.

“The ILC modernisation is another important step for us to improve the recyclability of BOPP films and leave a more environmentally friendly footprint in the packaging value chain,” said Teng Lian Jun, General Manager Strategic Operations at Hubei Firsta.

The modernisation of Hubei Firsta's film stretching facilities is scheduled to begin in autumn and expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
