LK to demonstrate thin-wall cup manufacturing at K 2025
At K 2025, LK Injection Molding Machine will showcase its solution for the packaging industry, featuring the manufacturing of a 700ml thin-wall cup made from polypropylene (PP) / recycled PP (rPP) on the ELS400 electric high-speed machine. The average wall thickness is 0.55mm, and the cycle time is 6±0.5 seconds.
The main manufacturers of injection molding machines in the food and beverage sector are Japanese and European. During the live demonstration at the fair, LK will highlight the competitiveness of its Chinese solutions.

LK will manufacture the thin-wall cups on-site at the K 2025 fairgrounds.
LK positions its high-speed machines, such as the ELETTRICA all-electric and the hybrid thin-wall packages, at a lower investment cost while providing cutting-edge servo technology, energy-efficient drives, and packaging-oriented cycle times.
The dedicated thin-wall/IML packages from LK feature overlapping motions, high-speed injection units, and high-response control, specifically designed for cup and container manufacturing with short cycle times.
Moreover, these machines are equipped with servo pumps or hybrid drives, achieving significant energy savings with simplified hardware.
LK’s ELETTRICA platform is OPC-UA ready, facilitating seamless integration with MES/SCADA systems and third-party auxiliaries, thus avoiding vendor-locked ecosystems. This capability reduces integration efforts in brownfield plants.
