K 2025: All-electric two-component machine from FCS speaks volumes

Sep 17, 2025

Fu Chun Shin Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. (FCS) will be showcasing the CT-230R all-electric two-component injection molding machine at the K Fair for the first time. The machine will produce two-component trays during the exhibition.

The machine features servo motor for injection and material storage, with multiple independent material tubes enabling synchronized injection. This significantly shortens the molding cycle. With high-performance servo drive and controller, the injection precision reaches 0.01 mm.

Additionally, the servo turntable speed is enhanced by 30% to 50%, combined with low back pressure in material storage, which reduces glue overflow.

FCS emphasizes that its all-electric two-component injection molding machines integrate the designs of servo drive, precision turntable, and low back pressure injection. This not only greatly improves molding efficiency but also aligns with ESG objectives by promoting energy conservation, material savings, and waste reduction.

Shorter cycle time and lower energy consumption

The independent servo-driven material tubes enable synchronized injection and storage, shortening cycle times by 10% to 20% compared to traditional two-component machines. This optimization significantly lowers the energy consumption required for each mold, directly decreasing carbon emissions during machine operation.

Furthermore, traditional two-component products often required two machines and two processes to manufacture. Now, a single machine can complete composite molding, saving factory space and reducing mold changeover time. This approach also dramatically lowers equipment investment and process-related carbon emissions, providing a more competitive sustainable solution for mass-producing high-end products.

Longer mold life and less material waste

With a 30% to 50% increase in servo turntable speed and positioning accuracy of ±0.005°, mold change and setup times are significantly reduced, extending mold life and minimizing scrap due to misalignment. This contributes to lower indirect carbon emissions (Scope 3) and less material waste.

Higher injection precision and reduced glue overflow

The all-electric two-component injection molding machine features a high-performance servo controller, achieving an injection precision of ±0.01 mm. Coupled with a low back pressure storage design, it effectively reduces the defect rate and excessive glue overflow. This not only saves raw materials but also simplifies the downstream recycling and waste disposal processes.

Recycled materials and low-carbon applications

The stable and precise injection conditions of all-electric machine make the machine suitable for two-component molding with post-consumer recycled (PCR) or recycled materials, further facilitating brand customers in adopting recycled and circular materials.

The all-electric two-component injection molding machines of FCS are well-suited for sectors with keen competition and high aesthetic requirements. They are particularly recognized among brands for manufacturing sustainable products, including household goods, stationery, 3C products, automotive components, as well as sports equipment and footwear.

The CT-230R to be showcased at K 2025 has already been sold to a customer in Spain.
