With Tinuvin NOR 600, BASF introduces a next-generation NOR-HALS light stabilizer at K 2025. This innovative solution showcases advanced performance, particularly when acid resistance or prolonged weatherability is required.

 

Engineered as a high-performance synergist, Tinuvin NOR 600 offers exceptional protection when used in combination with other BASF light stabilizers. Its advanced chemistry enhances the durability of PVC, including its alloys and polyolefin-based plastics, against sunlight and heat, making it ideal for applications such as roofing membranes and artificial turf.

 

The free-flowing, low-dust product form allows for safe and easy handling by converters and masterbatch producers, enabling them to create differentiated, long-lasting solutions for demanding environments.

The new Tinuvin NOR 600 enhances the durability of plastics against sunlight and heat, making it ideal for applications such as roofing membranes and artificial turf.

 

Tinuvin NOR 600 is a NOR HALS, a specialized class of light stabilizer used in plastics to protect them from harmful UV radiation and subsequent degradation. It is part of BASF’s VALERAS sustainability platform, which promotes resource efficiency, waste reduction, and circularity in plastics.
