HK Cosmetic Packaging: Close partners for 50 years
HK Cosmetic Packaging is an expert in injection molding, thermoset pressing, injection blow molding, screen printing and hot foil stamping.
In addition to customized packaging solutions, the product portfolio includes an extensive standard range of thin and double-walled tins, brilliant thick-walled jars, individual sticks and roll-ons as well as matching closure options.
For 50 years, the company has relied exclusively on Arburg machines for injection molding. “We particularly appreciate the great reliability and durability of the Allrounders. The processes are stable, which is crucial for our production. The ability to customise the machines to our requirements is also a big plus,” commented Christian Abicht, Managing Director of HK Cosmetic Packaging.
Automated injection molding production
Together with the anniversary machine, around 85 Allrounders in the clamping force range from 250 to 3,200 kN are currently in use. Many systems are equipped with Multilift linear robotic systems for automated series production.
Together with Arburg, a complex turnkey system for the fully automated production of cosmetic jars with lids was also developed and put into operation. The latest hydraulic Allrounder 720 S with a clamping force of 3,200 kN and a size 1,300 injection unit is also automated with a Multilift.
In future, the anniversary machine will produce thick-walled PET cream jars with wall thicknesses of up to 10 millimetres.
