CMG Granulators has expanded its manufacturing headquarters in Budrio (Bologna, Italy) with a new 800-square-metre area, as part of the company’s growth path and a response to a continuously expanding market.

“This expansion is a concrete response to the trust the market continues to place in us,” commented Giorgio Santella, CEO of CMG. “For us, growth means investing in space, processes and expertise, with the aim of offering our customers increasingly effective solutions and a high-level service.”

The company’s headquarters covers a total area of 16,000 square meters, of which 8,000 square meters are occupied by buildings.

The new space will be dedicated to logistics, enabling more efficient management of internal flows and freeing up production space to meet rising demand. This strategic investment will allow CMG Granulators to further improve organization, manufacturing capacity and delivery times.

Alongside the production area, CMG Granulators’ site hosts a new 1,000-square-metre Technical Centre, dedicated to granulation trials and advanced technical support. The center features a test area equipped with granulators and shredders of different sizes and capacities, capable of processing a wide range of materials, as well as a training area with rooms and infrastructure specifically designed for this purpose.

Thanks to this facility, customers can see CMG Granulators machines in operation, assess processing methods and the reuse of their own materials, and verify the quality of the final output, with the constant support of the company’s technical team.

The company also offers the option of carrying out granulation trials when customers are unable to attend in person. Materials can be shipped to the company for the required tests; at the end of the process, customers receive a technical report, videos and photographs of the results to support the evaluation of CMG Granulators’ proposed solutions.

With this expansion, the company strengthens its commitment to providing customized solutions, qualified technical support and an increasingly efficient service, further consolidating its position as a reliable partner in the recycling sector.
