Milliken and Azelis have entered into a distribution agreement in India to support the expansion of polyurethane colorant solutions across the market.

Under the agreement, Azelis will distribute Milliken’s Reactint polyurethane colorant solutions in India. The agreement spans polyurethane applications overall, with coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) representing an expansion opportunity for Milliken, supported by Azelis’ local footprint, application expertise, and customer reach.

This collaboration builds on Milliken’s long-standing presence in India’s polyurethane industry and supports its continued growth across key polyurethane applications, while for Azelis the cooperation complements their lateral value chain in the CASE segment in India.

Both companies share aligned, solutions-led business models, with a focus on differentiated products, strong technical and commercial support, and long-term customer relationships.

Milliken has been active in the Indian polyurethane market for several decades, supporting customers in the flexible foam and broader polyurethane segments through differentiated solutions, technical expertise, and strong local engagement. This agreement reinforces Milliken’s established position in the market while creating a platform for future growth through a strong local distribution partner.

“India has been a key market for Milliken’s polyurethane business for many years. This agreement supports our long-term growth strategy by strengthening our ability to serve customers across polyurethane applications, while selectively expanding into new segments through a distribution partner with strong local capabilities,” said Daan Vanwynsberghe, Global Business Unit Director Polyurethane of Milliken.

India represents a strategic growth market for both companies’ polyurethane business. Selecting a distribution partner with deep market understanding, technical capability, and local presence is central to Milliken’s approach to scaling its polyurethane offering and delivering closer support to customers across the value chain.
