How Can Footwear Manufacturers Achieve Both Soft Feel and Stable Foaming Performance?

Broad Hardness Range for Flexible Formulation Design
In footwear materials, inconsistent foaming softness and limited formulation flexibility often stem from the base resin itself. FU JIAN HONG KONG PETROCHEMICAL LIMITED addresses this challenge by integrating customization into its polymerization process, enabling materials to better match demanding footwear processing needs.

From Ultra Soft to Strong Support
Its elastomer portfolio offers a wide hardness spectrum. In the SBS series, hardness ranges from Shore A 45 or above for grades such as XJ-6385 up to Shore A 88 to 92 for XJ-3032 and XJ-3046. In the SIS series, hardness can go as low as Shore A 26 or above, represented by XJ-9516. This broad range gives compounders more freedom to fine tune feel, resilience, and support for different footwear products.
High Melt Flow for Better Processing
Processing efficiency is equally important in injection molding and extrusion foaming. Grade XJ-6387 offers a melt flow index of 8 to 16 g per 10 min, while XJ-3046 reaches 3 to 9 g per 10 min. This strong flowability helps materials fill complex molds more smoothly and supports more uniform foam cell structure, reducing defect rates.
Low Ash, Green Compliance and Stable Supply
The company maintains ash content at ≤0.20% across its SBS series. High-end grades such as XJ-3046, XJ-6385, and XJ-6387 feature volatile content as low as ≤0.50%, while other products remain at ≤0.70%.Products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. Supported by a modern production site in Quanzhou, Fujian, the company offers stable supply for both domestic and overseas footwear supply chains.
