Jun 3, 2026

EyeC is launching the Proofiler Graphic Connect, a fully cloud-based, system- and hardware-independent prepress inspection software.

EyeC Proofiler Graphic Connect enables automated PDF-to-PDF comparisons for core prepress workflows.

The SaaS solution enables automated PDF-to-PDF comparisons for core prepress workflows. Prepress operations and departments can now integrate quality control into existing production processes in a more transparent, flexible, and future-proof manner.

“With Proofiler Graphic Connect, we’re integrating prepress quality control directly into modern production workflows,” said Michael Körper, Product Manager at EyeC GmbH. “Companies can coordinate their inspection processes across multiple locations, speed up approvals, and manage quality requirements transparently. This creates an efficient workflow that reduces manual effort and ensures reliable results across teams and systems.”

EyeC Proofiler Graphic Connect is available now.

Automatic, high-precision inspection

Designed specifically to meet the needs of the graphic arts industry and packaging production, Proofiler Graphic Connect addresses key quality risks in the prepress stage.

As a comprehensive, cloud-based inspection package, the software automatically and with high precision compares print-ready and step-and-repeat files against approved reference files.

Taking all prepress-specific requirements into account, the system checks graphic content, barcodes, and Braille in client, print, and imposition PDFs, identifies deviations early, and supports faster approvals with significantly reduced manual effort.

The scalable SaaS architecture offers system-independent flexibility and eliminates the need for local installation and maintenance. At the same time, direct operation via the browser interface and real-time collaboration creates a secure foundation for quality control in prepress.

Seamless integration into workflow systems

Proofiler Graphic Connect integrates seamlessly into workflow systems such as HYBRID Software Cloudflow or Esko Automation Engine via a standardized REST API interface.

This enables prepress teams to fully automate and embed quality control into their existing production processes: inspection jobs are initiated directly from within the workflow without requiring any user interaction.

Once the inspection is complete, all results and detected deviations are automatically returned to the workflow system and visualized there in the familiar user interface. This allows quality decisions to be made directly within the workflow without the need to actively operate the inspection software.

If user interaction is still required, the system automatically navigates to the relevant section. The intuitive user interface allows results to be quickly reviewed, evaluated, and approved. The workflow then automatically continues the process.

These evaluations and decisions are also seamlessly reported back to the workflow system. Companies thus benefit from greater process reliability, reduced coordination effort, and a continuous digital audit trail in which all inspection results, deviations, and approval decisions are centrally documented and available in the workflow in a traceable manner.

For detailed analyses, users can switch directly to the Proofiler Graphic Connect interface at any time to view all inspection results in detail.
