Americhem launches Laser Marking Solutions platform

Jun 12, 2026

Americhem, a global leader in custom polymer solutions, announced the launch of its Laser Marking Solutions platform, a portfolio of masterbatches and engineered compounds designed to enhance laser marking performance across a wide range of polymer systems.

Americhem launches Laser Marking Solutions platform to enhance laser marking performance for automotive OEMs.

As manufacturers face increasing demands for traceability and production efficiency, laser marking has become an important tool for permanent identification.

“By engineering that interaction directly into the polymer, manufacturers can improve consistency, reduce secondary operations and optimize marking performance for specific application requirement,” said Parminder Agarwal, Chief Technology Officer at Americhem.

Developed to help OEMs meet growing traceability, compliance and product identification requirements, Americhem’s Laser Marking Solutions platform delivers durable, machine-readable markings for applications in healthcare, transportation, building and construction, electronics and industrial markets.

Americhem’s Laser Marking Solutions integrate high-contrast, machine-readable markings directly into the polymer, helping reduce reliance on labels, inks and other secondary marking processes.

In addition to improving marking performance on challenging materials, the platform enables distinctly colored laser markings on dark polymer substrates, expanding design and branding possibilities beyond traditional monochrome laser marking.

As marking performance depends on factors such as polymer chemistry, pigments, additives, laser wavelength and processing conditions, Americhem works closely with customers to optimize solutions for specific materials and end-use requirements.
