GAC unveils stunning GOVE flying electric vehicle prototype
GAC Group, leading Chinese car maker, hosted its annual flagship conference GAC TECH DAY 2023 on 26 June with the theme “Evolving Technology”. Latest innovations in the fields of connectivity, engine, and vehicle technology were introduced at the event, including the GOVE prototype.
Standing for GAC On-the-Go Vertical EV, GOVE is an all-electric flying vehicle which combines a separable flight cabin and ADiGO PILOT-powered autonomous mobile chassis. It adopts 90% lightweight composite materials, a 3DoF flight control system, and aerospace-grade high-precision docking technology.
The single-seated flight cabin has six rotors for flying in the air and the four-wheeled chassis can travel on roads. When traveling on the road, the GOVE acts as a normal electric car with the cabin and chassis connected. When it comes to flying, the cabin is separated from the chassis which can be operated remotely and sent to a charging station.
The unique design also allows multiple units to be shared among users. It ensures the GOVE can operate as a smart mobility solution in ground travel, airborne flight, and air-to-ground docking scenarios. Check this thing out!
