Its new anti-fog technology helps minimize lid condensation formation, providing good product visibility in cold food merchandising displays, according to the company. Typically, fogging in food packaging applications occurs when products such as salsas, salads and other high moisture content foods are merchandised or stored in a cooler environment such as a cold display case. Placon's crystal-clear, anti-fog lids are specifically engineered to bead moisture build-up, allowing consumers to easily view the container's contents.
