Engel's automotive team toured in China

Considering China an influential automotive production country, the automotive team of Engel, a global leading injection molding machine maker, visited four of the China's automotive hotspots, namely Shanghai, Wuhan, Chongqing and Chanchun during the Engel automotive Tour China from June 17 to 24 this year.

With a production of 8.8 million vehicles a year China is the third largest automotive manufacturer worldwide following Japan and the US. Against the backdrop of a one-week tour through the country's leading automotive hotspots, the Engel automotive team demonstrated the injection molding machine manufacturer's competency in this field.

At the tour, technology keynotes and selected sample applications from the exterior, interior, and engine compartment fields were met with great interest by the 200 participants. This is a very important starting point for Engel's large-scale machine works in Shanghai in particular, as 60% of the machines produced in Shanghai will be supplied to the automotive industry.
