Innovia Films launches a white ultra-low density film for ice cream flow wrap packaging.

The film is a high-gloss white coextruded OPP film with very wide heat seal range. Innovia’s team has also made some significant changes to its extrusion lines to make the film grade ideal for ice cream sandwiches and popsicles.

Moreover, the film grade offers very high puncture resistance to preserve the product. Printability of the film also allows superior graphic appeal. The film also provides an easy-to-open package.

The films are largely unaffected by climate conditions but it should not be store at temperature above 40°C. Under suitable storage conditions, the film can be stored for a period of 6 months without any risk of deterioration.

The new film grade was developed and had successfully trialed and launched at the Innovia Films site in Płock, Poland.
