Focus on high-performance standard machines

In 2014, ENGEL established its subsidiary WINTEC – a short for “winning technology”.

With a product strategy different from ENGEL, which focuses on customized solutions, WINTEC primarily offers standardized injection molding solutions. At present, the main products provided by WINTEC are servo-hydraulic two-platen t-win and all-electric e-win SE injection molding machines.

The t-win two-platen series has clamping force of 450-4,000 tons while the e-win all electric series has clamping force of 50-500 tons. Both series mainly focus on automotive interior and exterior, E&E, and consumer product applications.

Debut of WINTEC t-win 32000

The new product launch highlighted the debut of t-win 32000, a two-platen machine with clamping force of 3,200 tons. Through quick mold-changing platform and automated technology, the machine achieves efficient production of car bumpers.

During live demonstration, the machine showed car bumper manufacturing within a cycle time of 60 seconds, which is ahead of industrial standard.

Another new solution exhibited was e-win 1800. It produces electronic connectors with 128 cavities.

High capacitive modulus and fast dry cycle time

WINTEC’s machines demonstrate higher capacitive modulus that can install larger mold to satisfy customers’ requirements for different mold specifications.

In addition, the t-win series also improves the dry cycle time by accelerating the injection molding cycle time to shorten the formation time, which significantly improve the overall productivity.

Faster delivery for Asian countries

As ENGEL’s ninth global site, Changzhou site produces injection molding machines from both ENGEL and WINTEC brands.

The site facilitates faster local delivery for the ENGEL Group in Asia region.

Continuous investment in China

ENGEL has continuously invested in Changzhou site for its strategic efficiency. The third expansion of Changzhou site was also completed in the first quarter of 2024.

The expansion includes doubling office area, increasing the height of heat treatment workshop facility, doubling the productivity of machining, as well as installation of 2.73MW photovoltaic power generation system.

Set in China, expand to the world

Through continuous growth and improvement in product portfolio, WINTEC has gradually expanded its products and services from China to the world, including America, Africa, South-east Asia and Europe.

“I purchased a WINTEC injection molding machine in 2018, mainly for manufacturing plastic sports flooring for basketball, tennis and handball fields. Injection molding machines from WINTEC have very high stability and the service in North America is outstanding as well,” said a sports equipment manufacturer from the US, WINTEC’s first North-American customer.

As WINTEC’s top-rated overseas market, the North America is rapidly growing in recent years. To provide better service for North-American customers, WINTEC’s injection molding machines have already planned to be manufactured in Mexico site.
