Apr 25, 2025

The award was accepted by Syensqo’s leadership team, including Patrick Rodgers (Transportation Sales Director for the Americas), Laura Hirschhorn (Executive Key Account Manager), Deedee Smith (Head of Marketing Automotive), and Brian Baleno (Director of Global Business Development and Program Management).

This innovative film technology enhances the performance and sustainability of electric motors and batteries. By enabling more compact designs and eliminating the need for conventional moisture management systems, Ajedium™ PEEK films are transforming the automotive industry, particularly in electric vehicle (EV) applications.

The PACE Pilot Award, part of the renowned Automotive News PACE program, celebrates innovation, technological advancement, and business excellence in the automotive supply sector.

Syensqo was recognized during the awards ceremony on April 15 at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Detroit. The selection process involved a rigorous evaluation by an independent judging panel, including a detailed written application and a virtual pitch presentation.

"We are incredibly honored to receive the 2025 Automotive News PACE Pilot Award," said Brian Baleno, Director of Global Business Development and Program Management at Syensqo. "This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by our customers. Our Ajedium™ PEEK has been successfully tested with 800 volt systems, demonstrating superior copper fill and heat dissipation capabilities compared to traditional aramid paper alternatives."
