In present logistics industry, plastic pallets are the basic tool for transporting and storing goods. Quality of pallets has direct effect on logistics efficiency and operational cost. Due to its large size, complicated structure and demanding environment, pallet injection molding has multiple processing challenges, including complex mix of raw materials, deforming, difficult in size control, short shots, stress concentration, control of color, high energy consumption and long cycle.

To overcome these challenges, BOLE Machinery has introduced EPL injection molding machine for plastic pallets. The machine optimizes processes in terms of structural design, plasticizing system and energy control, significantly enhances stability and efficiency of pallet production.
BOLE Machinery’s EPL machine has center locking structure, with large and wide mold opening for large molds. The machine also features even clamping force which reduces stress concentration, reducing the chances of deforming. Equipped with wear-resistant dual metal screw and color mixing solution, the plasticizing system processes complex mix of materials, including recycled material, and ensures smoothness and stable color of final products. Filtration system for nozzle also help filter impurities to reduce risk of damage to mold.
In terms of electric consumption, EPL machine integrates electric pre-molding, servo hydraulic power unit and smart control system. The overall energy consumption is reduced by 20-40% compared to conventional servo injection molding machine. Production efficiency is also enhanced with optimized cooling and cycle management.
Clamping force is available from 2,000 to 4,000 tons, covering demand for light standard pallets to large specific pallets, with mold stability and product density under high-pressure injection.
The EPL machine has been operated in multiple large-scale logistics tools manufacturers in China. In real-life production, overall production cycle is reduced by 10-25%, ensuring product quality and enhancing efficiency at the same time.
