Strong Sino-Turkish trade relation

There is a strong trade relation between China and Turkey. In 2025, Turkey imported 814,000 tons of plastic raw materials from China. Regarding plastic products, China accounted for 30.6% of Turkey's total imports by quantity in 2025. While for plastic processing machinery, 43.5% of Turkey's imports came from China, amounting to US$323 million.

This established relation attracts Chinese suppliers to invest in Turkey, providing better services to Turkish customers – more than 200 Chinese companies have already set up operations in Turkey, with investment over US$7 billion.
