Sesotec to highlight intelligent sorting at K 2025

Sep 25, 2025

Sesotec will exhibit at K 2025 under the motto “Economy meets Ecology”, showing how profitability and sustainability go hand in hand and how intelligent technologies make the plastics value chain sustainable for the future.

In view of the growing demands to reduce plastic waste and CO₂ emissions, Sesotec offers solutions that optimize the entire plastics cycle. Key topics include digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

At K fair, Sesotec will present groundbreaking systems for foreign object detection, material sorting and analysis, sensor and software solutions, and services. Highlights include:

  • SUSTAiN Technologies: When high-tech sensors reach their limits, artificial intelligence approaches such as NIR-Ai and OBJECT-Ai enable the reliable detection and differentiation of almost all materials, which are reliable for both food and non-food plastic packaging.

  • The new PURIFIER PERFORMER sorting system will be unveiled for the first time. The system is for plastic flakes with double-sided viewing, which enables even opaque materials, labels, label adhesions, or imprints to be detected and sorted out even more efficiently.

  • The FLAKE SCAN material analysis system for the precise identification and analysis of plastic types and compositions for use in both plastic recycling and plastic processing. The material analysis system quickly and accurately analyzes plastic flakes prior to further processing and detects all contaminants.

Other highlighted exhibits include:

  • GF metal separator for pneumatic conveyor lines with Speed.Tracking sensor technology for measuring product speed.

  • RAPID VARIO FS metal separator for bulk materials with flexible separation unit for a wide range of applications.

  • PROTECTOR metal separator for extruders, injection molding machines, and blow molding machines.

  • Monitoring.Package with three powerful sensors for measuring color, moisture, and temperature for optimal rejection rates in applications with standing material columns in extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding processes.

  • VARISORT COMPACT multi-sensor sorting system with compact design and low space requirements.
