Shorter Footprint, Greater Strength: FCS to debut compact innovation at CHINAPLAS 2026

Fu Chun Shin (FCS) Group will debut the SA Series compact injection molding machine at CHINAPLAS 2026, alongside several of its proven systems including the 5th-generation FB Series multi-component machines, CT Series all-electric multi-component machines, and FA Series precision injection molding machines.

Together, these machines demonstrate FCS’s commitment to space-efficient design and advanced engineering, providing manufacturers with cost-effective injection molding solutions adaptable to diverse production scenarios.

 

FCS will also present the integration of injection molding equipment with smart manufacturing technologies, enabling visualized production data, connected equipment management, and improved production efficiency.

 

The exhibition theme “Shorter Footprint, Greater Strength” reflects both the compact design advantage of the SA Series and FCS’s long-standing expertise in multi-component injection molding technology.

 

High-Speed Thin-Wall IML Packaging Solution: SA series

 

The newly released SA Series outward toggle injection molding machine reduces machine footprint while enhancing performance. Without compromising core performance indicators—such as clamping force, injection precision, and operational stability—the machine features a redesigned clamping unit that delivers:

  • Larger mold opening stroke

  • Centered clamping force distribution

  • Reduced structural deformation

  • Material savings during molding

 

As a result, the overall machine length is 15-20% shorter than conventional machines of the same specification. This compact design significantly reduces factory floor space requirements and enables manufacturers to install more machines within the same production area, increasing output per square meter.

 

The shorter machine structure also improves integration with upstream and downstream automation equipment, optimizing material flow and production line efficiency. It is particularly suitable for cleanroom environments and precision component manufacturing, where efficient space utilization is critical.

 

At CHINAPLAS 2026, FCS will showcase two SA-350 high-speed outward toggle injection molding machines, one at the FCS booth and one at the GECH booth. Both machines will operate with GECH’s IML system, producing:

  • IML beverage cup (7.5-second cycle)

  • IML milk powder lid (22-second cycle)

G5 Electric Multi-Component Smart Molding System: FB series

 

The FB-250Re G5 multi-component injection molding machine, the 5th-generation model introduced at CHINAPLAS Shanghai 2024, will also be on display.

Compared with previous generations, the 5th-generation FB Series incorporates multiple core upgrades. The FB-250Re features an electric-driven injection unit, significantly improving injection precision and response speed while enhancing product stability and yield in multi-color molding applications.

 

At the exhibition, the machine will produce 2K ice cube tray using molds from FOCARE Mold, combined with OMC robotic automation, achieving a 30-second molding cycle.

 

All-Electric LSR Multi-Component Molding Solution: CT-R series

 

For applications requiring high precision and clean manufacturing environments, FCS will show the CT-R series all-electric multi-component injection molding machines. The machine integrates LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) technology, expanding the application scope of multi-component molding.

At the live demonstration, the CT-180R will produce automotive seals components using LSR + PA materials. The system operates in collaboration with a Zhongshan Research silicone feeding system and Wittmann robotic automation, achieving a 90-second production cycle.

 

Through the FB-250Re and CT-180R demonstrations, visitors can clearly observe FCS’s advanced capabilities in two-color and multi-material precision molding technologies.

 

High-Precision Optical Component Molding Solution: FA-e series

 

For optical and medical manufacturing, FCS will present the FA-200e from the FA series optical injection molding machine. This machine is an upgraded electric injection version of the FA Series, with key improvements include:

  • Optimized clamping structure

  • Mold platen strength increased by 30%

  • Servo energy-saving hydraulic pump meeting GB Level-1 energy efficiency certification

These enhancements significantly improve the precision and stability required for optical components, such as light guide bars and lenses, while extending equipment service life.

 

The FA-200e will collaborate with Guangdong Hongleida Optoelectronic to demonstrate a four-cavity motorcycle lens molding system, combined with laser cutting from Xingqi Laser and STAR automated part removal, with a 280-second molding cycle.
