K 2025 Live: SABIC unveils advanced solutions to transform everyday products

Oct 8, 2025

At K 2025, SABIC unveils innovative solutions that enhance the development of everyday products through extensive collaborations across the value chain. Under the theme “Connecting Everyday Life,” the company organizes its exhibits into five distinct display areas: Live, Move, Work, Shop, and Care.

“Visitors to K show can see that our products can help enhance everyday life by seamlessly integrating our cutting-edge material solutions, technology and consumer-centric approach,” said Sami Al-Osaimi, Executive Vice President, Polymers Business at SABIC.

In the “Move” area, SABIC consolidates its expertise in electric vehicles (EVs) and charging systems through the BLUEHERO initiative, which supports the next generation of electric mobility with innovative material solutions for EV battery systems, power electronics, and charging infrastructure.

For large transportation components, SABIC introduces its new MEGAMOLDING platform. This platform combines the company’s expertise, data, tools, and materials to facilitate the production of large thermoplastic parts, particularly for EVs.

In the “Shop” and “Care” areas, SABIC showcases end products derived from its TRUCIRCLE portfolio of products and services.

The company collaborates with suppliers and customers to develop solutions using polymers attributed to certified bio-renewable feedstock, which helps lower the carbon footprint of the products.

Moreover, the company’s solutions based on certified circular feedstock promote the circularity of plastics by keeping used plastic in the material stream.

These SABIC platforms are also featured in the “Live” area, where they enhance wirelessly connected electronic devices and labor-saving appliances, as well as in the “Work” area, supporting the industrial infrastructure that keeps factories running, including cables, pipes, and cooling systems.
